Announcement of funding for ABC/J Competence Centres
The Geoverbund ABC/J promotes the establishment of competence centres along the lines of the two already established centres HPSC TerrSys and CPEX-LAB. ABC/J Competence Centres bundle complementary expertises on a specific research topic, coordinate research activities and interconnect scientific infrastructures - across locations and independent of institutional structures.

For the initiation of ABC/J Competence Centres, Geoverbund provides financial grants to cover personnel costs to establish and coordinate the centres. All postdoctoral researchers who are members of the Geoverbund ABC/J and who eager to establish a respective centre within the next three to four years can apply for a grant.
