The Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) is offering a position (up to fulltime depending on qualification) temporarily limited to up to 36 months, subject to financing at the location in Müncheberg working on Development and application of a bioeconomic landscape model as PhD Student/PostDoc (f/m/d). The EU-BiodivERsA joint project SALBES ‘Scenarios for Agricultural Landscapes’ Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services’ aims to develop biodiversity scenarios and analyse them for their impact on agricultural production systems and biodiversity in a landscape context. SALBES contributes to a vision of a land use that integrates the conservation of biodiversity into agricultural production systems considering the landscape specific green infrastructure as a complementary element in achieving this objective. The project will employ a multi-actor approach to generate scenarios, sets of indicators and feedback on the model-based analyses of the scenarios. The project is planned to start on April 1st, 2019 and last for 3 years.
