PASCAL: registration deadline prolonged and travel grants available
For one week in autumn 2018 scientists from Ghana and other African regions will meet geoscientists from Geoverbund ABC/J in Accra, to get in contact with the latest methods of modern geoscientific research – modeling and simulation with supercomputers. We have prolonged the deadline until 31 August 2018 to make it possible for applicants to apply for the now provided travel grants for early career scientists!

The Bioeconomy Science Center kindly invites to the 3rd International BioSC Symposium „Towards an Integrated Bioeconomy” on November 12-13, 2018 at Gustav Stresemann Institute in Bonn, Germany. Participants will be international scientific experts from all relevant disciplines, as well as stakeholders from politics and industry.

This year, three young female scientists from the Forschungszentrum Jülich, the University of Bonn and the University of Cologne received the ABC/J Young Academics Award for outstanding, innovative and interdisciplinary research in the geosciences and geography.

Herzlichen Glückwunsch an die ABC/J-Preisträgerinnen 2018!
In diesem Jahr erhalten drei Nachwuchswissenschaftlerinnen des Forschungszentrums Jülich, der Universität Bonn sowie der Universität zu Köln die ABC/J-Forschungspreise für herausragende, innovative und interdisziplinäre Forschungsarbeiten aus den Geowissenschaften und der Geographie.
