PASCAL: registration deadline prolonged and travel grants available
For one week in autumn 2018 scientists from Ghana and other African regions will meet geoscientists from Geoverbund ABC/J in Accra, to get in contact with the latest methods of modern geoscientific research – modeling and simulation with supercomputers. We have prolonged the deadline until 31 August 2018 to make it possible for applicants to apply for the now provided travel grants for early career scientists!

Congratulations to the ABC/J-awardees 2018!
This year, three young female scientists from the Forschungszentrum Jülich, the University of Bonn and the University of Cologne received the ABC/J Young Academics Award for outstanding, innovative and interdisciplinary research in the geosciences and geography.
