The International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) is offering a position as Geospatial Monitoring & Evaluation Officer for the Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Risk Management Unit. Application deadline: 10 February 2019

The International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) is a membership Union composed of both government and civil society organisations. It harnesses the experience, resources and reach of its more than 1,300 Member organisations and the input of more than 16,000 experts. IUCN is the global authority on the status of the natural world and the measures needed to safeguard it.

Under the supervision of the Head – Planning, Monitoring Evaluation and Risk Unit, the Geospatial Monitoring and Evaluation Officer provides enterprise-level coordination of geospatial strategic planning, performance monitoring, evaluation and reporting with IUCN’s strategic impacts and objectives. Through research, management, coaching and capacity building, s/he will enable (a) managing the monitoring and evaluation system, (b) managing geospatial project results reporting, (c) providing results measurement technical support to programs and projects, and (d) managing corporate planning.
